Hey, I’m Hannah! I am the owner of Black Cat Coffee and I am beyond excited to introduce this mobile coffee house concept to our charlotte community. I have been a barista/manager/shift lead for almost 7 years in coffee shops all over the Carolinas, and i finally decided it was time to start working towards my dream of owning my own shop. There are so many things that I’ve learned throughout my years in coffee, and I am so grateful for my experiences because they have helped me create this concept and menu for all of you!

Black Cat Coffee is an ode to my 4 cats, Boba, Mochi, Bento, and Miso. everyone has a story to tell about their animals, and I love hearing all of your stories and seeing pictures of your furry friends.

Black animals are euthanized and left in shelters at disproportionate rates compared to other coat colors. By sharing my love for my black animals, we hope to bring awareness to these distressing facts to make a change and encourage our patrons to adopt animals of ALL colors from your local shelters and humane societies.

This mobile concept of coffee, community, and cats is one that I truly care about. I am so lucky to have been making coffee at the cart almost every day since february 2025, and that’s all thanks to you guys!
